Microsoft secretly banned cryptomining from its internet services to protect consumers and clouds.
Changes were made early this month. Microsoft revised its Universal License Terms for Online Services.
The corporation only announced this decision on the Summary of Changes page.
It changed because "crypto currency mining can cause disruption or even harm to Online Services."
