Elon Musk, the prominent American business magnate, has launched a new Artificial Intelligence venture called “xAI”. This is with the ambitious aim of unravelling the true nature of the universe. In a recent announcement on July 12, xAI revealed its intention to collaborate closely with companies such as Twitter and Tesla, both owned by Musk, to advance its mission. The company is actively seeking skilled engineers and researchers in the San Francisco Bay area. They want them to join its technical team, and it has enlisted Dan Hendrycks, the director of the Center for AI Safety, as an adviser.

The developers behind xAI boast an impressive background. They have previously worked at renowned organizations including DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, Tesla, and the University of Toronto. Collectively, they have made significant contributions to the field of artificial intelligence (AI). This includes the creation of widely used methods. These methods include Adam optimizer, Batch Normalization, Layer Normalization, and the discovery of adversarial examples.
