Binance is a well-known term in the cryptocurrency and metaverse world. There is an 80% chance of being in a situation where you have to interact or associate yourself with it. Today, however, we will look at the company’s strides to establish a Binance Academy in Africa. Its primary goal is to educate crypto beginners in crypto trading and promote blockchain education and cryptocurrency in Africa.

General overview of Binance

Binance is renowned as the leading cryptocurrency exchange company founded in 2017 in Hong Kong. Binance has been adamant in realizing its primary goal; to promote and increase the freedom of money to its users, driving blockchain education and adoption and enabling greater access to its resources.

Changpeng Zhao started the company and gained popularity globally within a matter of a year. By 2021 the company reached an all-time peak, exchanging over $76 billion worth in crypto trading.

Eventually, Binance launched its token, BNB, and it slowly rose to its position as the third most traded token. Although the company initially started in China, it has expanded its reach globally.

This is mainly because China’s government began cracking down on cryptocurrency in 2017.

Over the years, the company grew, realizing it needed to take a step further. So it developed Binance Academy, a platform where crypto beginners could learn all about tokens, and crypto trading, acquire blockchain education and increase their interest in cryptocurrency.

The key was to attract developers within Africa to expand their knowledge and create new Applications ushering in the new age of crypto.
